Programming an Amano Bell Module Schedule
 

Amano bell modules can be programmed with timed events for shift start, breaks, lunch, and shift end.

Programming is done using the #700 key and event entries that assign days and times.

Work carefully. If you make a mistake, press E to step through entries, press I to save, then re-enter and correct the error.

Programming Steps

Step Action
1 Insert #700 key and turn right (display goes blank)
2 Press 21 then E
3 When 020 shows, enter 0 2 then E (2 seconds ring time)
4 Continue pressing E to advance event numbers and enter day/time
5 At the last entry, press I to save

For day selection, use the keypad pattern required by your module (example shown as selecting 1–6 for Mon–Sat, and 1–5 for Mon–Fri), then press # and enter the time, then E to store the event.

Finish and Verify

  • Press I to save the program
  • Verify clock time is correct and adjust if needed
  • Test the next scheduled bell event

FAQ

What does “020” control?
It sets bell ring duration in seconds (commonly 2–3 seconds).

What if I enter a wrong time?
Press I to save, restart, press E to step forward to the incorrect event, then correct it.
