Detex ProxiPen 30mm checkpoint tags are used as fixed recording stations in professional guard tour and watchman systems. Each tag is read automatically by the ProxiPen reader when a guard passes the checkpoint, providing verified time and location data for reporting.

These are the current production tags supplied by Detex. As of 2024, the older WorldTag logos have been discontinued. All tags are now solid black on both sides, with the same internal RFID technology and performance.

Clear, Meaningful Reports

Each checkpoint tag is assigned a custom name in the software. Instead of seeing a serial number, reports can display real-world locations such as “Loading Dock,” “Employee Entrance,” or “Great Lakes Distribution.” This makes reports easier to read and more useful for audits and supervision.

These checkpoint tags are designed to survive harsh environments. They are guaranteed for life and continue working in extreme cold, heat, ice, desert conditions, rain, and snow.

They can be painted over without affecting performance and can even be mounted on the inside of a window and read through the glass.
