Pyramid 5300 – 24VDC Bell Module Signal Amplifier
Expand bell capacity and signal reach for Pyramid master clock and self-totaling clock systems.
Description
The Pyramid 5300 24VDC Bell Module Signal Amplifier is used when a Pyramid time clock or master clock needs to reliably control multiple bells, horns, or signaling devices across longer distances or higher loads. If you are looking to add scheduled bell events, extend wiring distance, or power additional low-voltage bells from a Pyramid system, the 5300 is the required expansion module.
EmployeeTimeClocks.com has supplied Pyramid signaling components for decades and understands how bell capacity, wiring distance, and event programming interact in real installations. The 5300 is not a generic relay—it is a purpose-built signal amplifier that integrates directly into the clock’s programming menu, unlocking advanced event scheduling without external controllers.
This module connects by cable to Pyramid 4000 and 5000 self-totaling clocks, Pyramid 7000 master clocks, and Pyramid Wireless Master systems. Once installed, the clock recognizes the 5300 and enables bell programming directly from the clock interface.
Compatibility, Usage & Key Features
- Compatible with Pyramid 4000, 5000, 7000, and Pyramid Wireless Master clocks
- Flat BCD connector cable included for direct clock connection
- Supports Y-cable configurations when used as a master clock signal booster
- 110V powered module with internal 24VDC bell output
- Connect low-voltage bells or horns using standard two-strand lamp cord
- Optional proprietary power booster allows use of existing 110V bells
- Adds bell/signal programming options directly into the clock menu
- Supports up to 50 programmable bell events
- Each event can apply to 1–7 days per week
- Typical shift requires only 7–12 programmed events
Capacity & Expansion Guidelines
- Supports up to 35 low-voltage bells within 200 feet
- Power booster recommended when exceeding 8 bells or 200 feet
- Additional Pyramid 5300 modules can be added to extend distance or load
- Typical expansion point is after 200 feet or 8 clocks
- Each installation is unique and dependent on wiring layout

FAQ
Does the Pyramid 5300 create bell schedules by itself?
No. The 5300 enables bell scheduling within the compatible Pyramid clock. All events are programmed at the clock.
How many bells can one 5300 support?
Up to 35 low-voltage bells within 200 feet. Larger systems may require boosters or additional modules.Pyramid 5300 workshift timer add-on
Two applications:
#1: Pyramid 7000: Use as a signal booster for the Analog clocks, going beyond 8 to +4 more. Add another 5300 power booster, add +4 more as needed. Each installation is different, and may require less boosters, or more.
#2 Pyramid 4000 and 5000HD self totaling clocks and TimeTrax Elite systems:
This adds the ability to ring bells. It connects by an included BCD cable and requires 110V (an adapter is also included). Sending out enough power to ring 4 to 8 bells.
It will also send a time signal to Pyramid digital and analog child clocks, so you can run bells and synchronized clocks from your TimeTrax Elite clocks - not the Pyramid 4000 and 5000HD clocks (not at this time).
This software is included with Pyramid TimeTraxElite computerized clock systems only. Pyramid paper time card clocks do not have this software, but they can be programmed to ring exactly the same way. Including day of week, duration of time.
